Tien Tae Jitsu is an eclectic martial arts system with an emphasis on "self".  We practice martial arts for self defense, but we also work on self control, self respect, and self discipline.  We place a great deal of importance on life skills as well as our code of conduct, which is discipline, honor and respect.

Tien Tae Jitsu combines the fluid movements of Kung Fu, the explosive kicks of Tae Kwon Do, and the dynamic skills of Jujitsu. 

In addition to these, we practice techniques from Karate, Muay Thai, Kenpo, Ninjitsu, Judo and much, much more.

There are no forms/kata in Tien Tae Jitsu.  We work on developing proper form on techniques and set short-term and long-term goals; the achievement of these goals and the work we do to attain them fills us with a sense of purpose and pride.    

You don't have to be in shape to get in shape.  The health and exercise benefits of practicing Martial Arts are immeasurable.  It also offers an incredible form of stress relief and enhances self confidence.

Beyond the self defense aspect of training, the student can expect to learn about philosophy, meditation and Martial Arts history.  It is our sincere wish that all people experience the beauty of Martial Arts as a peaceful way of living and coexisting with others.
